On Saturday evening, I went to a gig at the Rathskeller in King’s Lynn for the Lewis Murphy, Phoenix Calling and Common Youth gig. Even though I do not like photographing in that particular venue, just because it’s super cramped and lack of lighting, plus barely any space to move around especially when you’re in their on a Friday/Saturday night, I still tried my best. People were happy with the results. I also bumped into Battle Bunny Beth and her friend which was unexpected, but it was nice to catch up with her as I have a photoshoot booking with her at MCM London Comic Con next month. I have been planning this gig since the week before just because I haven’t been to a live music event in quite sometime with my friend Joshua Yates. It was a good evening of live music.
Moving onwards to Sunday afternoon. I managed to get a lift from Jon Seymour which I was most grateful for and went with him and Josh Yates to the Twisted Melon Promotions – Battle of the Bands – Heat 8, which was in Downham Market. I think I have only ever been to Downham Market once before, so I am pretty unfamiliar with the location, most of the time I’ve only been past it via train. It was a fantastic day of live music and I enjoyed myself a great deal seeing the various talented musicians that performed. Here are just a couple of photos from the event below.
