Ranworth Broad

A few weekends ago, I went to visit the Broads for the first time. The weather was really nice and it wasn’t too busy. We had a nice walk around the Ranworth Broad and learnt a bit of history of what Ranworth Broad used to be like back in the day. It is believe to have been formed by the flooding of medieval peat workings. We trekked for around six miles around Ranworth Broad, all way to South Walsham. It was such a lovely walk and we ended our trip with a lovely meal at The Ship Inn too which was probably the best pub food that I have ever eaten. I really had a great time visiting the Ranworth Broad and South Walsham with my missus and shall definitely be venturing out to other parts at some point in the near future.
